GABRIEL SOLIS
FOUNDER & CEO OF SP COLLECTIVE + COACH/ TRAINER
Gabriel Solis, born and raised in Houston, Texas, founded Solis Performance Training in 2016. Gabe found a passion for developing and mentoring athletes at an early age, and has been fortunate to learn from some of the most intelligent people in sports. Some of those names include Loren Landow, Denver Broncos Head Strength Coach & Owner/Founder of Landow Performance, pitching guru Tom House, and world known hitting coach Rudy Jaramillo. These are a few of sports best minds and Gabe is thankful to call these people mentors. Since 2016, Gabe has accumulated a large number of college and professional athletes to train at Solis Performance Training.
Prior to his career, Gabe played baseball at the prestigious San Jacinto Junior College. After his playing career was over, he graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Nutrition from the University of Houston. Gabe also serves as an associate scout for the Cincinnati Reds.

MARION WATKINS
MANAGER OF SP COLLECTIVE, SP TRAINING COACH
Marion joined SP Collective in June 2023 after earning her B.S. in Applied Movement Science from the University of Texas at Austin, where she also played Women’s WCLA Club Lacrosse.
Before joining SP Collective, she coached lacrosse at St. Andrew’s Lower and Upper School and served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at MAD Training. She currently coaches lacrosse at Kinkaid Middle School and is a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Kinkaid High School. Marion specializes in working with high school female athletes, focusing on strength, speed, and injury prevention.
After recovering from three ACL tears, Marion understands the importance of proper preparation and injury prevention. The most rewarding part of coaching for her is watching her athletes gain confidence in the weight room, breaking through mindset barriers, embracing strength training, and realizing how capable they truly are.

JC CORREA
SP CAGES COACH
Originally from Puerto Rico, JC joined SP Collective in the offseason of 2023. Baseball first brought him to Houston, where he played four years of college baseball before beginning his professional career. JC went on to play 4 ½ years of pro ball, including time with the Houston Astros organization, and also gained experience competing in the Puerto Rican Winter League.
JC has been working with athletes since 2018, bringing a depth of knowledge from his years as both a player and a coach. His areas of focus include hitting, infield and footwork, and catching. What JC finds most rewarding about coaching is seeing players develop—not just in their skills on the field, but also in becoming better people off the field.
Outside of coaching, JC enjoys spending time with his family and watching baseball.

MAC GRAHAM
SP TRAINING COACH
Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Mac came to Houston after college with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science. A two-sport athlete in football and baseball at Greensboro College, he quickly turned his passion for athletics into a career in performance training.
Mac’s coaching background includes roles as a Sport Performance Coach with Athlete Training & Health and as a Return to Play Coach with Memorial Hermann. He specializes in baseball, golf, and return-to-sport/rehab, helping athletes bridge the gap from recovery back to competition. Over the years, Mac has worked in strength and conditioning with more than 25 professional athletes, including Ian Gibaut, Shedeur Sanders, Cam Ward, D’Eriq King, and Miller Kopp.
For Mac, the most rewarding part of coaching is helping athletes see their full potential while building lasting relationships beyond the weight room. Outside of coaching, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and playing golf.

ALEX LOPEZ

MICHAEL ROHLAND
SP TRAINING COACH
Michael joined SP Collective in June 2022 and brings experience as both an athlete and coach. Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, he earned his B.S. in Exercise Sports Science with a concentration in Pre-Rehabilitation, played baseball at Alvin Community College, and later served as a volunteer coach there.
His coaching focuses include strength and conditioning, outfield work, arm care, and hitting. What Michael values most is helping athletes set and achieve their goals while building confidence on and off the field.
Outside the gym, Michael enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Nancy, and their pug, Tobi, as well as traveling, watching movies, and studying baseball. He’s also recently gotten into collecting baseball cards.

CARSON MAXWELL
SP CAGES COACH
Carson, a Houston native, joined SP Collective in 2018 after a successful playing career at Galveston College, McNeese State, and in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. A standout defender, he won the Division I Gold Glove Award at third base in 2019.
He focuses on hitting and infield development and finds the most rewarding part of coaching is seeing the moment an athlete lights up when it finally “clicks.”
Outside of coaching, Carson enjoys real estate investing and has recently started learning piano.
